A group of El Pasoans will turn themselves in at the County Jail in Downtown El Paso to be voluntarily arrested, to send the message: We are Hispanics, Latinos and immigrants and the Arizona law makes us criminals. Will we let racial profiling permeate our law enforcement? Time: Noon.

BNHR is working with County Commissioners to present a resolution at the El Paso County Commissioners Court, condemning SB 1070 law in Arizona and calling for a boycott. Commissioners Court starts at 9:30 am.

March and rally for comprehensive immigration reform April 10, as part of a national effort. Start: 3 p.m. at Leech Grove on the UTEP campus. Rally around 5 p.m. at San Jacinto Plaza. We expect more than 1,500 participants including elected officials.
