CBP Meeting in Brownsville December 2009

On December 11, the Border Network organized a working meeting between border stakeholders and high-ranking officials from Customs and Border Protection in Brownsville. The 40 or so participants, including CBP Chief of Staff Marco Lopez, spoke about issues of community relations, detention of immigrants, and training of agents. The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by both sides to work together to improve border enforcement.
