RITA in DC October 2009

Members of Reform Immigration for Texas Alliance from all parts of Texas including El Paso traveled to Washington, D.C., on October 13, 2009, to educate elected officials about the need for comprehensive immigration reform. The delegation visited Congressmembers and delivered a petition signed by 25,000 Texans to the Texas Senators before joining other states’ delegations for a rally featuring Rep. Luis Gutierrez and others on the lawn of the Capitol.
